The Reggie Veggie Project
Reggie Veggie is a much loved character from the Button Moon TV series. Reggie had a well cultivated knowledge of flowers, animals and vegetables. He also won children’s hearts with his song “What’s the matter with marrow?”.
With the re-release of the 91 episode of Button Moon on ITVX, children and adults are once again enjoying the stories and adventure of TV’s most loved preschool puppet characters. The original 7 series of Button Moon, will soon be complimented by more creative activities and media, created by the creator of Button Moon, Ian Allen.

Activities for schools
The Button Moon Trust uses the magic of the much loved button moon characters to help children develop creativity, communication and craft skills.
Through our new Reggie Veggie project, we create activity packs for schools. The packs combine storytelling, puppet and craft based projects for in and out of the classroom.
The 4 x 1 hours sessions support children’s emotional, social and creative development, including those with additional SEN requirements.
These can be used for main teaching sessions or as wet play activities.
