SATURDAY AFTERNOON ON BUTTON MOON
It’s a quiet Saturday (7th) in March but the MAC is buzzing with puppet enthusiasts and mature fans of preschool TV series Button Moon.
Standing outside the stage door it was strange to hear a cinema full of adults all laughing at the simple jokes meant for their younger selves.
For 45 minutes, the audience listened intently to every word, about how the series were written, and how Ian and John bought them to life.

BANK HOLIDAY SHOWTIME
In the Summer of 2023, The Button Moon Trust hosted a live show at The Palace Theatre in Tibenham. The trust’s performance was in aid of Nelson’s Journey and featured the talents of Peter Kenny, Ian Allen, David Thorpe and Kate Shortt.
The mixture of music, puppets and comedy, brought together a fun-loving audience from as far away as London and Liverpool. A fun outdoor performance at ‘The Palace’, with a little rain to prove it was a proper British summer.
